WEEKLY FREE BETS

Even if your accumulator bet loses – you can still get your money back as a free bet. In order to qualify for this your accumulator bet needs to have at least 6 selections and a stake between C$5 and C$50. STSBet doesn’t currently have a mobile app, which you can download and install on your device, but based on what we found – it is not obvious they need one. You see, they’ve done a pretty good job at optimizing their website for mobile devices and it wouldn’t get much better even if there was an application.
We tested their mobile website with several different devices: an iPhone 11, a Google Pixel 2 XL and an older Samsung Galaxy Note 9. We didn’t notice any significant performance difference between any of them, which means that the website was as fast on an older phone as it was on new ones. This is mostly achieved by how the interface is built – most static page elements are the same between different pages and they are cached by your browser. In essence, whenever you move between pages you only load the actual data and not the interface. Such design allows older devices to work more efficiently and consume less traffic in addition to that.
Now we can take a quick look at the actual user interface and some of its key features. You can navigate between different sports using a slider menu, which is visible on most pages. Even though it does give an overview of available sports, we noticed that there is no indication of how many games are currently open for betting for each one of them. This might be a potential point for improvement, however it isn’t really that much of an issue. If you look at the list of games (overview) – there is a clear indication of the number of open markets per game. This is definitely a good thing to have and it saves you a lot of time that you would have otherwise spent moving between pages.
Finally, let’s see what is going on with the betting interface. If you open up a live game, then it will usually have an animated pitch, which displays what is currently happening in the game. All markets and their applicable selections are situated just below that. You can filter markets using a set of predefined categories and you can mark certain markets as “favorites” to quickly find them later. The only missing thing here is a search box – there is currently no way to look for a market by typing in its name.
Now to put things in perspective – STSBet’s mobile website follows most industry-accepted standards and does a pretty good job at it. It is fast, the UI is informative and even though some things might require improvement – as a player you will definitely be satisfied with the overall user experience here.
