Canada-Betting.com was originally created by a group of Toronto Raptors fans and sports betting enthusiasts. Most of us followed games closely, placed bets, argued about picks and also argued about where one should and shouldn’t place bets. Over time, all of the above evolved into the website you currently see in front of you.
The main editor and writer behind Canada-Betting.com is Alex Mortin. Alex is a life-long basketball fan and a devoted Toronto Raptors supporter. He has worked with some of the biggest sports betting brands in the world and has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. That background gives him a good understanding of how sportsbooks operate from the inside, what players should look for and which “red flags” should not be ignored.
Alex’s role is to look at betting sites with a critical eye and explain the good, the bad and the details in between. A proper sportsbook review should not feel like an advertisement. It should feel like advice from someone who has actually looked under the hood and checked everything out.
