TRYBET SPORTSBOOK REVIEW
REVIEW SUMMARY
WHAT MAKES BATERY WIN A GOOD SPORTSBOOK
OVERVIEW
TryBet is a relatively new betting brand that has recently started its expansion into Canada. It holds a valid license from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (company number 019260V) which was issued in 2023. Even though this license is enough to operate online in many provinces, it is important to note that Try Bet doesn’t currently have an iGaming Ontario license.
Overall, TryBet has a neat and rather minimalistic design and their platform meets the needs of most Canadian players. This includes support of integrated payment gateways from popular payment local providers.
You will also find some interesting promotions and special offers as well special betting features like BetBuilder.
REGISTRATION
The registration process is the first thing you will come across as a newcomer, so let’s have a look at it step-by-step. To create a new account, you will need to complete a simple registration form, providing basic personal and contact details.
The only unusual thing here is the requirement to add a document number, however that is a regulatory requirement specific to Canada. Ensure that the entered information is correct and valid, as it will significantly simplify the verification process you might need to complete at a later stage.
After submitting the form, the final step is to verify your email address by clicking the confirmation link sent to your inbox. Once that is done – your new account is all set.
The entire registration process should take no more than 3 minutes to complete.
WELCOME OFFER
TryBet has a welcome offer created specifically for newcomers from Canada. When making your very fist deposit, you can get a 100% bonus up to C$500.
The minimum deposit required to receive the bonus is C$10, and the only other thing you need to do is to select the sports offer on the payments page.
Bonus funds will be automatically added to your player wallet. Once you have them you will need to wager them 6 times with the odds of 4.00 (300) or higher for single bets or 1.50 (-200) or higher for accumulators.
Additionally, you will also get bonuses for your second and third deposits.
SUPPORT
The main way to get in touch with TryBet support is their live chat window which can be opened by pressing the support button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Of course, you can also send an email or submit a message via a contact form.
The support page indicates that live chat should be available 24/7. However, when we went online to test Try Bet’s support service, we saw that it was actually offline. Still, we decided to submit our questions and received a message that we can expect a response via email.
We received the email response within 2 hours. The questions we had were related to general betting rules and bonus conditions, the answers we got were good enough and gave us the information we needed.
SPORTS BETTING SECTION AND ODDS
TryBet’s sports section features over 30 different sports dicsiplines, including special ones like politics, entertainment and awards. Of course, the main focus is on sports like hockey, football and basketball.
To give you a better picture of what their coverage looks like, let’s look at a real upcoming game. We are going to watch an upcoming NHL match between the Detroit Red Wings and the Montreal Canadiens.
This game has over 120 markets open for betting, this includes a wide range of player markets (covering almost every player in each team) as well as a variety of combination bets. Additionally, you can combine selections from a single game in one betslip by using the BetBuilder feature.
LIVE BETTING (link to BB and streaming)
The live betting section covers many of the same sports you would have already seen in the pre-match section.
Since we’ve already talked about hockey earlier, let’s use basketball as an example this time. On an average, a live basketball game will have between 10 and 30 markets concurrently open at any given moment. This will mostly be period and minute-specific markets, as well as player bets in some cases. BetBuiler is also supported for most live events, this is important to keep in mind because in-play betbuilder is a relatively rare thing.
Some live games also come with live video streams that you can watch on TryBet’s website. You can find such games by the little TV icon next to the game’s name.
LIVE VIDEO STREAMS
A good portion of games on the live betting section will come with an embedded live video stream. This feature is completely free, and even unregistered users can access the streams without restrictions.
Finding games with live streaming is simple, just use the “Streaming” filter button, located in the top left corner above the sports selection menu.
It is worth noting that video streams are taken from third party sources which may result in a slight delay compared to the actual live match. Therefore, it is not recommended to rely on the video stream when making betting decisions.
BETBUILDER
Betbuilder is a special feature that lets you combine multiple selections from the same game into a single betslip. It is available for most pre-match events and a wide range of live matches.
Normally, when looking to place an accumulator bet, you will not be able to combine outcomes from the same game in a single betslip. This becomes possible with Betbuilder because it uses a more advanced odds calculation system that supports correlated selections.
SPORTS COVERED BY TRYBET
Hockey, Football, Basketball, Baseball, American football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Rugby, Cricket, Mix fights, Golf, Darts, Boxing, Esports, Rocket League, Handball, Table tennis, Floorball, Futsal, Field hockey, Sports, Water polo, Beach volley, Australian football, Gaelic sport, Netball, Softball, Squash, Badminton, Padel tennis, Sumo, Cycling, Racing, Chess
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
The Canadian version of Trybet’s website has two main payment options available to top-up your account: Interac and crypto. Since Interac acts as a payment gateway for most local banks as well as other popular local payment instruments – this should work for most people.
If you prefer not to use Interac or online banking in general, you can instead choose from over 10 different cryptocurrencies to fund your account.
- For withdrawals, you can request payouts via Interac e-Transfer or eCashout.
- The minimum deposit amount is C$5 for Interac payments and C$15 for crypto payments.
- The minimum amount you can withdraw is C$10.

The deposits page will show you all available payment methods you can use – pick the one you need and follow the given instructions to proceed with your payment.
Depending on the payment method of your choice, you might need to add some additional information. For example, your bank details, province and other personal information needed to complete your transaction.
HOW TO WITHDRAW FROM TRYBET?
The withdrawals page can be found on the general navigation menu which you can open by pressing the button with three lines on it, located in the top left corner of the screen.
However, before requesting a withdrawal, it is important to note that all players from Canada will be required to have completed identity verification through the KYC process before any withdrawals can be processed.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION (KYC) REQUIREMENTS

TRYBET MOBILE
Since Trybet is a relatively new name in the industry, they don’t yet have an official mobile app. Therefore, they have to be extra mindful of mobile optimization to ensure that everyone can use their mobile website on their mobile devices without any issues.
We did several test runs of their website using four different smartphones: an iPhone 12, an iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S23 and Google Pixel 8. We intentionally used two somewhat outdated devices, as we understand that not everyone has access to all the latest models.
SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
Trybet’s mobile website is reasonably well optimized for most mobile devices, yet some of the older models we tested it with didn’t perform as well as expected.
Most page elements that are static (images, buttons, etc.) would be cached by your browser on your initial visit. This is expected to significantly reduce loading times when moving between pages or opening new tabs.
That said, older devices might have difficulties utilizing this caching functionality. Therefore, on older and outdated devices pages will take longer to load. Nevertheless, all features and interfaces will still work as expected, giving you access to all sections of the website.
USER INTERFACE
The user interface of TryBet follows most of the industry-standard approaches, so any sports fan should be able to use it intuitively.
Header
The header section of the mobile website has two buttons: a button that displays your current balance and a button that opens up an extended navigation menu.
By tapping your current balance on the right side of the header, you can access the deposits page to fund your account. The button to open the main navigation menu has three lines on it and is positioned on the left side of the header.
Footer Menu
The footer menu has links to different parts of the sports betting section such as pre-match, live betting and bet history. You can also find a search button which you can use to find games, teams and tournaments based on their names.
Extended Navigation Menu
The extended navigation menu will appear when you press the menu button located on the left side of the header bar. This menu will have links to all account management and payment pages as well as your bet and transaction history.
Other things like KYC form to upload documents for verification, active bonuses and responsible gaming controls can also be found here.
TRYBET DESKTOP SITE OVERVIEW
A functional and user-friendly interface design is usually a good sign when it comes to betting sites, as this will enable you to find exactly what you need in just several steps, markets and selections should be clearly visible and understandable while the betslip part should show all details relevant to your bet and additional options and/or features if applicable. Below are some examples of how Trybet’s online sports betting section looks like.
Let’s start by dividing the website into four distinct sections which we can then review one by one in more detail.
- Header panel: On the desktop website, the header works as the main navigation panel where you can find links to all available sections of Trybet’s platform. Links to account management and payment pages are also available in the header. They can be found by clicking on your username and balance – a drop-down menu will appear.
- Sports navigation menu: The sports navigation menu is located on the left side of the screen, and it is split into two main parts. On the top, you will have quick links to all popular leagues like the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. The second part of this menu lists all available sports in alphabetical order. Each sport has an indication of the number of available games next to its name.
- Betting interface: The main betting interface is located in the center of the page, showing all upcoming matches along with their most popular betting markets. Selecting a game will open a detailed view, displaying all available markets, live scores, and other applicable match information. The betting interface for pre-match and live games are identical for the most part.
- Betslip and live streaming: Located on the right side of the screen, the betslip widget displays all the outcomes that you have selected. Here, you can enter your stake, combine outcomes into an accumulator or a system bet and confirm your bet. If a live stream is available, the video player will also appear here.
TRYBET AFFILIATE PROGRAM
TryBet’s affiliate program is managed by ReactivAffiliates. It works exactly like all other gaming affiliate programs – you refer new users, and in return, earn a percentage of the revenue they generate. However, the specific terms and commission structure may vary based on different factors.
HOW IT WORKS?

A member of the affiliate team should reach out to you within a couple of days. They will likely want to know more about you, how you plan to promote their sportsbook and what is the expected number of people you can bring in.
