Sportaza is a betting brand that we will likely soon start seeing more of in Canada. Being founded in 2019, they aren’t an old name in the industry, yet they’ve been around for quite some time now. For the most part, Sportaza has focused their attention on European countries. However, in early 2023 they shifted their attention to Canada. You can have CAD as your main account currency and you can also use several popular local payment methods.
It’s important to mention that Sportaza currently does not hold licenses from Canadian regulators such as Kahnawake or Ontario iGaming. Nevertheless, they do operate under a valid Antillephone N.V. (no. 8048/JAZ) license, which is a reputable iGaming regulator widely recognized in the industry.
REGISTRATION
As a newcomer, you will first need to create an account. The registration process is quick and consists of three simple steps. First, you will need to enter your email address and password. On the next page you will be asked to enter your name and date of birth. Finally, the last step is to enter your address and phone number.
Your new account is all set as soon as you complete all three registration steps. At this stage you will not be asked to verify or confirm anything.
The entire registration process will usually take under three minutes to complete.
WELCOME OFFER
Sportaza, like many other betting brands, offers a welcome bonus for new players. As a newcomer from Canada, you can get a 100% bonus up to C$150 for your first deposit. Your first deposit has to be at least C$30 in order to activate this bonus. However, it will not automatically be credited to your account as soon as the deposit is confirmed.
To receive the bonus funds, you will need to wager your initial deposit amount with odds of 1.50 or higher. The bonus will remain valid for 30 days from the date of activation.

SPORTS BETTING SECTION AND ODDS
Sportaza offers over 30 different (34 to be precise) sports for betting, so as you can imagine, even the niche sports disciplines can be found here. Nevertheless, let’s focus on the sports that most of us come here for. To paint a clear picture of how the sports betting section looks here, we are going to examine a real-life hockey game.
For example, an upcoming NHL game will feature many different types of betting markets. These will include “main” bets on game outcomes, various spread markets, over / unders and player specific, goalscorer markets.
LIVE BETTING
The live betting section covers mostly all the same sports as you can see in the regular pre-match section. As soon as you open the “live” tab, you will be greeted with a list of ongoing hockey games (if there are any available). In case you want to see games from other sports, simply pick the one you need from the vertical scroller menu.
The live betting interface has an animated scoreboard and match tracker right around the top of your screen. These real-time elements offer an up-to-the-minute depiction of the ongoing game action.
The list of available bet types is shown right under the scoreboard. You can see all open markets shown in one long list or you can filter them using one of the premade categories. Most hockey games will have a wide range of combination bets, handicaps and over / unders available in addition to the regular “main” markets.
BETBUILDER
When betting on high-profile football games (for example NFL) you might notice an additional tab in the market categories menu. This is the special “Bet Builder” feature, that allows you to combine selections from the same game in a single betslip. In essence, this functionality allows you to conveniently place a parlay bet involving components from the same game.
What’s even better is that the Bet Builder functionality is also available in some live games. This is something we haven’t actually seen before in any of our other sportsbook reviews.
It’s important to note, however, that the availability of this feature isn’t universal across all sports and events. If you are unable to locate it – it might just not be enabled for your selected game.
HORSE RACING
Horse racing appears to have a special place here at Sportaza, it has even been moved to its own separate section of their website. In case you are a racing enthusiast, this might actually be one of the best racing sportsbooks available in Canada because they have races from every part of the world.
Most races will also have a live stream available, however it is important to note that streams will only be available for funded accounts. Making a minimum deposit is already enough to unlock this feature.

DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
One of the main payment methods you will be using is, of course, Interac. As a player from Canada you will already know that this is the most convenient solution to make payments from and to your player account.

HOW TO MAKE A DEPOSIT?
Go to Sportaza.com and sign in using your username and password. In case you can’t remember your login details, follow the “Forgot password?” links and recover them using your email address.
When you are logged in, you will see your current balance displayed in the top right corner of the screen along with a “plus” sign next to it. Press on that “plus” sign and you will be taken to the deposits page.
You will now see all the available payment methods – pick the one you would like to use and you will be taken to the next page, where you can complete your payment.
Depending on the payment method of your choice, you might need to add some additional information. For example, your bank details, province and other personal information needed to complete your transaction.
HOW TO WITHDRAW FROM SPORTAZA?
The withdrawals section can be found on the payments page, where you previously made your deposit. When requesting a withdrawal, it is important to keep in mind that you should be using the same payment method you used to top up your account.
The daily withdrawal limit is C$750 and the monthly withdrawal limit is C$10,500.

Most sports fans out there are probably already familiar with accumulator bonuses. The more selections you add to your betslip, the higher is your potential accumulator bonus. This bonus is applied on top of your potential payout and can go up all the way to 100%.
This bonus starts with 3% which you get if your bet has three selections and gradually increases with every added selection. The maximum is 100% which will be applied to your bet if you have 21 or more selections.

Sportaza doesn’t appear to have an official Android or iOS application available right now. Nevertheless, they are quite well-optimized for most mobile devices and should give you an overall smooth user experience. There might, of course, be some edge cases, which we will also cover in this section below.
We did several test runs of their website using four different smartphones: an iPhone 8, an iPhone 14, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Google Pixel 7.
We intentionally used two somewhat outdated devices, as we understand that not everyone has access to all the latest models.
SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
As we already mentioned, the mobile website is well-optimized and is compatible with a wide range of modern devices. We’ve tested it using new models as well as relatively outdated ones and in both cases we were mostly satisfied with its performance. It’s worth noting that certain older devices might not fully support the integrated live streaming player in the horse racing section, otherwise everything works as expected.
You will also not see long loading times when moving between pages because most static interface elements will be cached by your browser. However, please keep in mind that this will not work if you are using a private browsing window.
One last thing to consider is screen resolution. If you are using an outdated smartphone with a smaller display size, you might have difficulties using some of the menus on the home page. However, that should no longer be an issue after you move over to one of the sports-specific sections.
USER INTERFACE
Let’s now delve into the user interface, its controls, and the different sections of the website. For the most part, Sportaza uses a “classic” sportsbook website layout, which will be familiar to any experienced sports fan.
When you open the home page, you will see two main navigation menus. The first one lists several main sections of the website and the second one is a vertical scroll bar with a list of available sports. You can use the first menu if you want to browse around or the second one if you already know what you are looking for. Links to the account management and payment pages are located, as expected, in the website’s header and can be accessed from any page.
There is a third menu, which you can bring up by pressing the three little lines located in the top left corner of the screen. This menu offers links to several additional sections of the website, such as the promotions page, the shop (where loyalty points can be exchanged for free bets), and challenges.
Finally, let’s take a look at the betslip. When you pick a selection it will be added to your betslip, which should appear as a green icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. To open the betslip, simply tap that green icon. You should now see all selections you picked as well as the possible bet types (single, multibet and system bet). What types of bets are available will depend on the number of selections in your betslip. There’s also a separate “My Bets” tab, which you can open to get an overview of your recent bets.
SPORTAZA DESKTOP SITE OVERVIEW
A functional and user-friendly interface design is usually a good sign when it comes to betting sites, as this will enable you to find exactly what you need in just several steps, markets and selections should be clearly visible and understandable while the betslip part should show all details relevant to your bet and additional options and/or features if applicable. Below are some examples of how Sportaza’s online sports betting section looks like.
Let’s start by dividing the website into four distinct sections which we can then review one by one in more detail.
First off, the header of the website is the main navigation menu that will have links to most sections of the website. This is also the place where you can access your profile page, see your current balance and navigate to the payment page.
Next, on the left side of the screen you will have a vertical sports navigation menu. On the top, you will see a search box, where you can enter a team or a tournament name. It is followed by a full list of all available sports. Each sport on this list has a number next to it, showing you how many games are currently open for betting.
The main betting interface is situated in the center of the screen. You can see a second sports selection menu here, this is a vertical scroller bar. A list of popular leagues, upcoming events and live games are shown below.
Finally, when trying to find the betslip, you might notice that it isn’t situated on the left side of the screen, like you might have expected. Instead, it can be brought up by clicking the little betslip icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
SPORTAZA AFFILIATE PROGRAM
Sportaza’s affiliate program is run by a third-party affiliate network called 247Partners. If you would like to promote Sportaza, you would need to create an account with their affiliate network. That will also give you access to several other related brands in case you might be interested in them.
HOW IT WORKS?
In case you feel like trying yourself at affiliate marketing, the first thing you will need is an affiliate account. Go to the 247Partners website (green button below) and press the “Join Us” button in the top right corner of the screen.
You will be taken to a registration form, which you will need to fill out and submit.
